    Definitions

Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological condition characterized by involuntary vocal and motor tics, ranging from mild to severe movements or sounds. It often coexists with other conditions such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), marked by intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions; Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), characterized by defiance and irritability towards authority figures; Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), involving difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness; and Anxiety Disorder, leading to intense feelings of worry or unease. While all these conditions might seem daunting, they don't have to be. We've redefined Tourette Syndrome as:

Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological condition characterized by involuntary vocal and motor tics. These tics manifest as vibrant moves, rhythmic dances, beautiful sounds, spirited energy, bubbly blinks, lively gestures, hummed melodies, and cool beats. Individuals with tics find themselves unable to suppress their unique rhythm. While Tourette syndrome isn't always beautiful, it's important to acknowledge those moments when it is. It's in those moments that we learn to embrace and love ourselves.
